Behavioural adapatations are most commonly used as a defensive mechanism, such as an echidna rolling up into a ball or a pufferfish puffing up to stop predators from eating them. Behavioral adaptations also include things like being nocturnal, swimming patterns, huddling together in a group to keep warm and burrowing in holes to keep cold.
